Why You Should Vape With Lab Created E-Juices

E-juices (a.k.a. e-liquids) are the crux of the vaping industry. Creating and enjoying a wide range of unique and delicious flavors is a big selling point for novice and expert vapers alike. And hands-down, the best quality e-juices are lab-created.

While it may be more cost-effective to try and create your own flavors, superior products will almost always come from a lab.

The lab environment is essential because the environment can be controlled and regulated with highly-trained technicians overseeing the entire process.

Lab-created e-juices are typically made with high-grade ingredients, which contributes to a smooth, quality taste and flavor. By contrast, homemade e-juices can be inconsistent in their texture, flavor, and intensity. And unless you’re doing in-depth research about how your ingredients are sourced, you’re probably using inferior products to what might be used in a lab.

The two main components of an e-juice are propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerin (VG). The mix of the two is what creates a smooth base for your vapor. PG is commonly used in food products as a flavor carrier, it’s also an ingredient in food coloring and an additive in many medications.

VG, (a.k.a vegetable glycerol), is a clear, odorless liquid made from plant oils such as palm, coconut, or soy. The texture is similar to an oil or syrup. For household or food use it must be USP grade, and it’s often used in lotions, shampoos, and toothpastes.

High VG content in an e-juice helps to create larger vapor clouds.

The final ingredients that make up an e-juice are water, flavorings, and optional nicotine. Flavorings can be natural or artificial, and nicotine concentrations vary from 0mg to 24mg.

Because e-juices are sensitive to light, lab-produced products are bottled in colored containers to protect the liquid. When buying new flavors, it’s always best to purchase in small quantities until you’re sure the flavor works for you.
